CJC-1295 DAC
Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide - Long-acting GHRH analog with drug-affinity complex.
CJC-1295 DAC incorporates a drug-affinity complex that extends its half-life, studied for sustained growth-hormone-axis stimulation in endocrine-research models.
The drug-affinity-complex version binds serum albumin to extend its presence, and research contrasts its sustained GHRH signaling against the more pulsatile no-DAC form. The half-life extension is itself a frequent subject of study.

Research notes: CJC-1295 DAC
Background
CJC-1295 DAC is a 29-residue analog of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1-29) carrying a drug-affinity complex (DAC), a reactive group that binds serum albumin and extends how long the peptide stays in circulation. It was identified in rats as a long-lasting GHRH-receptor analog (Jette et al., 2005). In a published study in healthy adults, a single administration produced prolonged, dose-related increases in growth hormone and IGF-I (Teichman et al., 2006), and growth-hormone secretion stayed pulsatile during the continuous stimulation (Ionescu and Frohman, 2006). Half-life extension is therefore the property most often examined.
What the Aspect certificates show
There are 3 certificate records for the 5mg vial, all from Freedom Diagnostics, dated 15 March 2026 to 27 August 2026. Reported HPLC purity runs from 99.06% to 99.46%. Identity is confirmed by LC-MS/MS, and the appearance is reported as white lyophilized powder. Each full report is available as a PDF on this page and in the COA library.
How it differs from related compounds
CJC-1295 without DAC is the shorter-acting GHRH analog used when a pulsatile signal is the variable. Sermorelin and Tesamorelin are other GHRH-receptor analogs with their own half-lives. Ipamorelin acts at a different receptor entirely.
